It is basically the nicotine kick without all the burning.

Third-hand smoke is what happens after you’re done smoking and there is residue stuck on surfaces which is also harmful. Plus, a lot of eateries or public spaces allow vaping and e-cigarettes rather than smoking cigarettes.
